A lesbian couple who rose to fame through daily vlogging on YouTube has hit back at haters who said “the wrong one” got pregnant.

Domo and Crissy, who have gained a following of 1.4 million people, are expecting a child but some fans recently criticised Domo – who is carrying the child.

The “fans” said Domo was the “wrong one” to be carrying the child because she “dresses like a man”, and that it should have been Crissy to carry the child because she is more “feminine looking”.

Actress Samira Wiley Gets Engaged

OITNB star Samira Wiley delighted fans of the show – who may still be recovering from her recent exit – by announcing her engagement to writer Lauren Morelli this week.

Wiley – who played popular Poussey Washington – posted a picture of the pair Instagram. The post featured a sparkling ring and the word “Yes”.

The pair fell in love on the set of the Netflix hit, after Morelli realised she was gay just days after joining the show in 2014.

Lesbian Tech Entrepreneur Creates App To Make Job Hunting Less Discrimatory

Blendoor is a new app that aims to reduce unconscious bias in the recruitment process.

It’s been launched by a San Francisco-based tech entrepreneur, Stephanie Lampkin. The app connects employers with potential employees, but hides the applicants name, gender and ethnicity.

‘There’s a saying that if you have a brain you have bias,’ says Lampkin in a phone chat with GSN.

‘In terms of hiring, how that translates is if you take resume and change the name from Joe to José, you will see a big difference in response.

Study: Same Sex Parents Spend More Time With Their Children

Researchers from the Population Research Center at the University of Texas found that women in lesbian relationships spend 40% more time engaged in child-focused activities than their straight counterparts, largely because both mothers typically offer as much time as mothers in straight relationships.

Fathers in straight relationships spend only about half as much time on child-focused activity. However, fathers in gay relationships spend roughly the same time as the mothers (around 100 minutes a day).
